I'm a person who loves learning and believes that learning can be enjoyable. When I tutor students, I make it a priority to ensure that students are having fun along the way. I also like to figure out how each student learns so that I can modify my teaching style to match. As an educator, I've taught several different grade levels. I've also held other educational roles such as assistant principal, literacy coach, professional development trainer, and consulting teacher. I'm proud of all of the positions I've been able to work in, but there's nothing better than helping students realize their academic potential. I want my students to develop solid, comprehensive writing and English skills so that they have the ability to communicate effectively throughout their academic careers. I even noticed how important English was when I spent time in China, where children learn to speak English at young ages. I'm excited to help students in ESL, English language learning, phonics, reading, writing, and English through the college level. When I have spare time, I enjoy watching television, reading mystery novels, reading novels that have been made into films and comparing them, bowling, football, basketball, tennis, shopping, spending time with my family, and travel.
