Experience
I'm presently studying computer science and bioinformatics at Morehouse College. I immerse myself in my dual topic area by studying, attending conferences, performing research, and participating in scholar programs. I believe that interdisciplinary science is the way to study science that makes the most sense. I've even been able to publish my research findings. I've served in leadership positions at my college and tutored students in the Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) program. As the lead instructor there, I was responsible for tutoring computer science students on an individual basis. I've also tutored students within the Division of Science and Mathematics. Whenever I tutor, I utilize the Socratic method, but I am open to using different methods, as needed. Most of the topic areas I tutor in are connected to my topic areas, but I also assist with study skills and organization. Here are some of the subject areas I can help you with: IB Computer Science HL, IB Design Technology HL, Science, Math, Elementary Math, Geometry Algebra 1, and Information and Technology. When I am not studying or tutoring, my interests include music, food, and dance.
